What an exciting day for the young artists from the Kassel district! On July 6, 2025, the awards ceremony for the 55th international youth competition “jugend creativ” was celebrated in the departure hall of Kassel Airport. The organizer of this inspiring event was Raiffeisenbank HessenNord eG, which not only promotes the creativity of the students, but also makes a contribution to social discussion. HNA reports that this year's motto was “Really digital” and the participants dealt with the topic of digitalization in a creative way.
A total of 390 primary school children submitted their ideas, from which the jury, consisting of representatives from schools, municipalities, the press and the Raiffeisenbank, honored 22 particularly outstanding works. A look into the future
The “jugend creativ” competition not only supports children’s creativity, but also offers a deep insight into contemporary social issues such as digitalization. Young people should experiment and reflect on how digital tools influence their learning, working and communicating. Youth creative In this round, we have established collaboration with “Dein SPIEGEL” and other partners in order to offer the young participants a platform for creatively addressing these topics.
Overall, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) supports numerous school and youth competitions that aim to promote the curiosity and creativity of the young generation. Every year, over 900,000 children and young people show their best side and take part in the diverse challenges. BMBF explains how important such competitions are to encourage young people to ask questions and find new solutions.
With a view to the next round of the competition, the little artists can look forward to the theme “Discovering the Sea: Our Seas and Oceans”, which starts on October 1, 2025. We can only hope that the creativity of these talented children will continue to blossom!
