The operators have put a lot of effort into transforming the former bakery into a cozy meeting place for up to 40 guests. The idea for the bar came about not least because the premises had been vacant for a long time. A place with good style and a sense of neighborliness

“Aleos” also thought of the neighbors: a smoking lounge was set up in the rear area to accommodate residents. The interior design itself reflects the operators' vision: modern, inviting and impressive. Angela Volk took care of the entrance area, while Kameri took care of the main design. Originally scheduled to open in May 2025, the bar was finally able to open its doors on November 16, 2025, with opening hours set at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 6:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with the possibility of expanding in the future.

But that's not all that Gelnhausen has to offer. Another gastronomic highlight is the newly opened Café Walters, which opened its doors on November 1, 2025 at Altenhaßlauer Straße 1, near the train station. Brothers Julian and Florian Walter have transformed a former second-hand shop into a bright, modern, boho-style café. Using natural materials such as pampas grass, rattan and wood, it creates a warm, inviting feel.
