Construction site chaos in Wiesbaden: These streets are closed from today!
There will be some construction sites in Wiesbaden in the coming weeks that will have a significant impact on traffic. Drivers and cyclists in particular should be prepared for closures. How merkurist.de Reportedly, several streets are affected by the work, some of which will last several weeks.
The Konrad-Adenauer-Ring in the southeast of the city will probably only be accessible in one lane until July 29th. Work on the combined sewer is delayed here. The left-turn lane onto Dostoyevsky Street also remains closed.
Further construction sites at a glance
- Abraham-Lincoln-Straße (Südost): Vom 24. Juli bis 22. August wird dieser Abschnitt in Fahrtrichtung Berliner Straße zur Einbahnstraße, um die Fernwärmeleitungen zu erneuern. Die Umleitung wird ausgeschildert.
- Rubensstraße (Nordost): Hier kommt es vom 21. Juli bis 1. August zu einer Vollsperrung, da die Fahrbahndecke erneuert wird. Fußgänger sind nicht betroffen.
- Feldschützstraße (Nordenstadt): Am 23. und 24. Juli wird dieser Bereich gesperrt, während Freileitungsarbeiten durchgeführt werden. Fußgänger können ihre gewohnten Wege weiter nutzen.
- Patrickstraße (Bierstadt): Vom 21. Juli bis zum 29. August ist eine Vollsperrung geplant, um die Versorgungsleitungen zu erneuern. Auch hier gibt es Umleitungen für den Verkehr.
- Thürpfad (Dotzheim): Vor Hausnummer 6 wird es vom 21. Juli bis 8. August eng. Die Tiefbauarbeiten zur Erneuerung der Hausanschlüsse lassen Anwohner ohne Fahrzeugzugang zu ihren Grundstücken.
- Am Jägerhof (Biebrich): Zwischen dem 15. Juli und 1. August wird hier eine Vollsperrung vor Hausnummer 16 nötig, um eine Gasstörung zu beheben.
- Neckarstraße (Schierstein): Ab dem 21. Juli bis zum 30. August wird der Abschnitt zwischen Wupperstraße und Söhnleinstraße voll gesperrt. Die Haltestelle „Neckarstraße“ wird in beide Richtungen nicht mehr bedient, stattdessen wird eine Ersatzhaltestelle eingerichtet.
Construction is also continuing on the A643 between the Schiersteiner Bridge and the Schiersteiner Kreuz; the work is expected to last until March 31, 2026. The same applies to the K647 between Schwalbacher Straße and Riederbergstraße, where the closure will continue until November 24, 2025.
