Gunter Krämer says goodbye: A life for education and culture in the Odenwald!

At the last Board of Trustees meeting of the Sparkasse Odenwaldkreis Foundation, an important event was on the agenda: the farewell to Gunter Krämer, Karlheinz Ihrig and Uwe Klauer. District Administrator Frank Matiaske, chairman of the board of trustees, and Marco Laut, deputy chairman of the savings bank, gave moving speeches in which they emphasized the achievements of the three. Gunter Krämer was retired as managing director of the foundation after having played a key role in areas such as education, culture, sport, social affairs and the environment for many years. His immense passion and commitment had a lasting impact on the foundation.

Before taking on the role of managing director, Krämer was already active as head of the marketing department and head of the market area at Sparkasse Odenwaldkreis. The board of directors and the board of trustees paid him respect for his influence on the Sparkasse's social commitment. Karlheinz Ihrig and Uwe Klauer were also bid farewell to the board of trustees - their achievements were not left unmentioned at the event. As Krämer's successor, Marc Monien, head of communications and brand strategy, will take over the management of the foundation. Monien, who knows the region well and worked in the savings bank organization for a long time, is looking forward to the new challenge. The Sparkasse Odenwaldkreis and the foundation would like to expressly thank Gunter Krämer for his decades of commitment.

Anniversary celebration at the Sparkasse Odenwaldkreis

While the Sparkasse Foundation closed a major chapter, 37 employees celebrated an anniversary at the Sparkasse Odenwaldkreis at the same time. This annual event was accompanied by CEO Karlheinz Ihrig and his deputy Uwe Klauer, who honored the anniversaries for their many years of commitment. Among the celebrated employees are faces that have shaped the Sparkasse over the years.

Overall, it was a day of looking back on achievements and commitment - both at the foundation, which is now taking a new course, and at Sparkasse Odenwaldkreis, which is happy about the loyal anniversaries and is focusing on the importance of staff commitment. It will be exciting to see how the foundation's work will develop under the new leadership.
