Bensheim, Deutschland - Last Wednesday, the annual Bergsträßer economic reception took place in the Sparkasse Bensheim. Around 170 guests, including entrepreneurs, representatives of public institutions and interested parties, listened to the exciting lectures and the musical entertainment by Kathrin German. The event was organized by Wirtschaftsförderung Bergstraße GmbH (WfB) under the direction of Dr. Matthias Zürker.

The event was opened by Mayor Christine Klein and Johannes Erich Schulz, the chairman of the board of Sparkasse Bensheim. A special highlight was the keynote of the guest of honor, Minister of State Kaweh Mansori from the Hessian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Affairs. With a volume of 1 billion euros, this fund will play a key role in adapting companies to new challenges. Prime Minister Boris Rhein emphasizes the need to ensure an unbureaucratic and efficient application for funding. This not only includes financial aid for the renovation and digitization, but also a long -term promotion of innovations, such as the future -proof offers for digital infrastructure in rural areas, which are to be supported with 300 million euros for fiber optic expansion 2024.
