Great fun for everyone: inclusive holiday games day on October 8th in Alsfeld!
There's something coming for the little athletes! The fifth inclusive holiday games day “Gymnastics and games for everyone” will take place in Alsfeld on October 8th. The event is organized by the Alsfeld gymnastics club in collaboration with the Family Relief Service (FED) of the DRK Lauterbach district association. Little adventurers between the ages of 5 and 10 are cordially invited to join in from 10:30 a.m. to around 2:30 p.m. in the TV gym, Jahnstraße 10.
Exciting activities around the theme of “Animals from all over the world” are planned. Whether it's playing, having fun or taking part in a small course - you're guaranteed not to get bored here! A snack is provided for the hungry children during the lunch break, and the best part: participation is free. Interested parents should hurry, as registrations are only open until October 5th at the latest m.kneussel@tv-alsfeld.de possible.
Gymnastics highlights in autumn
But that's not all! Alsfeld is all about movement: On November 10, 2024, Children's Gymnastics Day will be celebrated in the large sports hall (An der Bleiche). Leading organizations such as the German Gymnastics Youth (DTJ) and the German Gymnastics Association (DTB) have launched the event and have been doing so since 2017. Here, children aged three to seven can experience various exercises from 10:30 a.m. to around 12:30 p.m. and acquire their “circus child badge”. Hundreds of clubs in Germany take part in it every year and there is a lot of fun and play involved.
The motto of the event is “circus”, and the children not only get active, but also receive certificates and little surprises at the end. And so that no one goes hungry, there are numerous treats for parents and spectators. Anyone interested should register with Mirjam Kneußel by November 9, 2024, 3 p.m.
Festive celebrations
Another highlight follows on the same day: The anniversary exhibition event at 2:30 p.m. in the large sports hall marks the 175th anniversary of the TVA. An exciting program with sporting activities from various departments of the gymnastics club awaits visitors here. Your physical well-being will also be taken care of with coffee and cake. So November becomes a double showcase for great movement and community.
