Bad Nauheim, a place of memories and timeless magic, is preparing for a very special event. This will take place from August 15th to 17th, 2025 European Elvis Festival which is celebrating its 23rd anniversary this year. This festival attracts Elvis fans from around the world to not only honor the influence of the King of Rock 'n' Roll, but also to celebrate the famous time he spent in Germany during his military service.
Elvis Presley spent an important phase of his life temporarily in Bad Nauheim when he was stationed in Friedberg in 1958. Instead of living in the barracks, he chose Villa Grunewald, where he rented an entire floor. His room number 10 has been preserved in its original form to this day and is a popular photo motif for the numerous fans who want to pay homage to his former presence. An Elvis stele nearby is regularly decorated with flowers and gifts by fans.
The festival highlight
The European Elvis Festival offers a colorful program: concerts, talk shows, a fan market and the popular Classic Car Parade with historic cars, including shiny Cadillacs. Visitors not only enjoy the music, but also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fashion of the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Another highlight is the Celebration Night, which forms the crowning conclusion of the festival. The event is organized by the municipal department for culture and sport and the Elvis Presley Society.
The line-up includes some colorful names, including Sam Budja, frontman of the rockabilly cover band “The Baseballs”, who will perform on Saturday evening. Linda Thompson, Elvis' former partner, will also appear on a talk show this weekend. The crowning finale is the winners of the music contest, Carsten Keber and “E!vis & the Hipshooters”, who present their talents at the celebration night.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased both online and at box offices during the festival. If you have a particularly good knack for finding the right tickets, you can also purchase single tickets and day tickets, while the coveted VIP tickets are already sold out.
The festival mainly takes place in the event centers Hotel Dolce and the Trinkkuranlage, where the concerts and the fan market take place. Particularly worth mentioning are the planned city tours and the Sunday shopping, which offers visitors additional flair.
