Bridge day full of highlights: celebrations and theater premiere in Gelnhausen!

Another highlight starts in Großkrotzenburg, where the 850th anniversary of the community is celebrated with a festival weekend. The celebrations begin with an academic celebration in the auditorium of the Franziskanergymnasium Kreuzburg this evening. An attractive program is waiting for the guests here: in addition to greeting, historical lectures are also offered, musically framed by the group 4-can-cane and the St. Cäcilia church choir.

on Saturday, June 21st, it really starts. At 1:00 p.m. the large parade on the TV gymnasium on Kahler Strasse begins, accompanied by clubs, institutions and groups that are closely connected to Großkrotzenburg. After that, the whole family goes to the Römerkastell, where a diverse stage program is waiting between 1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Children can look forward to handicrafts and hands-on activities, while the clubs ensure the best service and catering.

Musically accompanied by the church choir and the TV wind orchestra, the 850-year history of Großkrotzenburg will also be the focus. After the service, visitors can expect a reception in the rectory, organized by the Cameroon Project.
