Police in the Main-Taunus district are hunting burglars and illegal racers!
In the last few days, the police in the Main-Taunus district have been under a lot of pressure as various crimes have occurred in several communities. The burglaries and thefts in particular have kept officials on their toes when it comes to the security situation in the region.
A particularly bold break-in occurred in Bad Soden on Rohrwiesenweg. Between Sunday evening, November 2nd, and Monday morning, November 3rd, 2025, unknown perpetrators forcibly gained access to a single-family home. Another case of theft also occurred on Sunday evening in Eschborn, where a black “2R Manufaktur” trekking bike was stolen. The bike was secured with a lock, which underlines the audacity of the theft. Information about this case is received from news.de, Tel. (06196) 9695-0.
Vandalism and traffic accidents
Another incident in Hofheim occurred on Monday, November 3rd. A male perpetrator kicked off the exterior mirror of a parked Audi on Brühlstrasse. In this case, too, the police are looking for witnesses who can call (06192) 2079-0.
A traffic accident occurred on Saturday, October 25th in Liederbach. A 29-year-old Ford driver collided with a dark Opel Corsa. The woman was slightly injured and the person who caused the accident fled. There was material damage of around 5,000 euros. Witnesses to the incident are also encouraged to come forward.
Illegal car racing on the A66
A possible illegal car race that took place on November 2nd, shortly after noon, on the A66 between Hofheim and Wiesbaden attracted particular attention. Several road users reported risky driving maneuvers carried out by four vehicles: a white Mercedes, a gold Audi station wagon, a black Mercedes S-Class and a white BMW 3 Series. Some of the vehicles carried Turkish flags and license plates from places like OF, FB or IGB. The police have started an investigation and are asking witnesses to contact them at (0611) 345-4140.
Police are appealing to citizens to be vigilant and report any suspicious sightings immediately to increase security in the area. Rising crime shows that there is an urgent need to keep our eyes open.
