The city of Mörfelden-Walldorf did a great job at this year's city cycling and fought its way to second place in the Groß-Gerau district with a record of 1,403 participants. Mörfelden-Walldorf has been taking part in the competition since 2008 and is in second place in the Hesse comparison and 25th in the national ranking.

Encouragingly, the average age of participants has fallen from 44 to 42 years, indicating an increasing interest in cycling among younger people.
