Neighborhood help in Lorsch: Free meeting on September 2nd!

Another meeting for neighborhood help will be held in the Bergstrasse district. This esteemed event will take place on September 2nd at 2:30 p.m. in Haus Emmaus in Lorsch (Wingertsbergstraße 25) and invites everyone interested. Rhein Main Verlag reports that the event follows a successful launch event in May 2025.

The aim of this contact exchange is to bring together people who are looking for an open exchange about neighborhood help. There is support, especially for people in need of care - in Hesse, these can be reimbursed by the nursing care fund with up to 131 euros per month. In principle, certain requirements must be met, such as the level of care of the person being supported and the official recognition of the supporter under state law, in order to receive this financial support.

An offer that connects

The neighborhood help initiative was launched during the Corona pandemic and continues to be very popular. The “Living in Older Age” department of the district committee in particular takes care of recognition in the Bergstrasse district. This position is an important address for anyone who would like to get involved in neighborhood help.

The contact exchange is free and no pre-registration is required. If you still have any questions, you can contact Christina Adler-Schäfer and Michaela Weber directly on 06206 - 909487 or via email at paula-norie@kreis-bergstrasse.de. This ensures that anyone interested in this valuable form of support can easily obtain all the information they need.

The event is not only a good opportunity to gather information, but also offers the opportunity to meet like-minded people and exchange experiences. This creates a network that can sustainably support many families and individuals in the region.

Neighborhood help in Hesse is not only a current topic, but has now developed into an important pillar of social support that extends far beyond the pandemic. Make sure you too can take part in this positive movement!
