Something big is happening in the beautiful Vogelsberg region: The renowned regional brand “Vogelsberg Original” is now being taken over by the Vogelsberg Regional association. This step is the central point of a recent network meeting, where producers and regional players exchanged ideas intensively and discussed the future of this brand identity. The district office had previously managed the brand, but its integration into the association now promises a breath of fresh air for local producers.
District Administrator Dr. Jens Mischak (CDU), who also chairs the association, sees this as a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the region's image and promote the marketing of regional products. “The producers should join the association,” demands Mischak. In his complaint, he emphasizes the importance of greater personal responsibility on the part of brand companies so that they don't just wait for support, but also actively participate in the success of their products.

Growth of the regional brand
Last year, 20 products from 10 producers were successfully included in the “Vogelsberg Original” brand, which shows that the idea of a strong regional identity has found fertile ground. The association should now ensure that this growth is continued.
