Pure art enjoyment: autumn exhibition in Alsfeld delights all the senses!

In Alsfeld, creative energy floods the museum barn, where the autumn exhibition of the Alsfelder Kunstverein can currently be seen. Under the motto “Artists in Flow”, 18 talented artists present their works, which range from paintings and sculptures to photographs and collages. This living exhibition, which takes place as part of the Alsfeld Culture Days opened, offers a colorful spectrum of modern forms of expression and invites visitors to wander through fascinating landscapes and ideas.

Last Sunday, September 7th, the exhibition celebrated its vernissage, where Mayor Stephan Paule and the club's chairwoman Petra Bastian warmly welcomed the guests. The evening was accompanied musically by the artist Kae Schuch, who created a special atmosphere with her sounds. “There’s something going on!” One could say, because the works show the diversity of voices, styles and techniques of the artists involved.

Diverse program and workshops

The autumn exhibition has no set theme, which offers the artists freedom for creative development. The new contributors include Sybil Novak, Maja Glasow-Weber and Anja Kierblewski, who bring a breath of fresh air to the exhibition with their unique perspectives. Particularly noteworthy is the workshop “Art on Music – Upcycling old vinyl records”, which Anja Kierblewski will lead next Saturday, September 13th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the museum barn. If you want, you can take part for 15 euros for materials and register at info@marlik.net.

The exhibition is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. until September 21st. Admission is free, which makes it the perfect opportunity to spend a leisurely art afternoon. The entire offer of the Alsfeld Culture Days until September 21st is a real treat for culture enthusiasts.
