Fulda Hospital celebrates 62 anniversaries: Honor for decades of commitment!

A special event recently took place at the Fulda Clinic when a total of 62 employees were honored for their many years of commitment and loyalty. The anniversary celebration, which was attended by over 150 colleagues, not only recognized the outstanding contributions to medical care, but also celebrated the team spirit within the company. Dr. Thomas Menzel, spokesman for the board, opened the evening with a heartfelt thank you to all those honored and emphasized the stability of the employees, who are of great importance to the clinic. A very special highlight of the celebration was the honoring of 12 employees who have worked in public service for an impressive 40 years. Among them are names like Antje Andrikoglou, Beate Deckwerth-Wilhelm and Prof. Dr. Tilmann Kälble. Twenty-six employees were also given farewell to their well-deserved retirement, including Dr. Alfred Adamski and Jutta Dänner.

Focus on anniversaries and retirees

Likewise, 24 anniversaries were honored for 25 years of service. The first well-wishers, including Rachel Krutzki-Rüb on behalf of the works council, conveyed their best wishes and thanked those celebrating their birthday for their continued commitment. Menzel introduced each honoree personally and, along with presents, also presented certificates that documented the valuable contribution of each individual and created a moving moment.

Another ceremony recently took place at the Fulda Clinic, at which 30 anniversaries were honored. 18 employees were honored for their 25 years of service, and one employee even celebrated her 40th year of service. This event was also opened by CEO Claus-Dieter Schad, who presented the careers of the honored employees and thus demonstrated the diversity of life stories at the clinic. Osthessen-News reports.

Anniversary bonus and regulations

For those celebrating an anniversary, their many years of service not only bring recognition and the joy of applause, but also financial benefits. Public sector employees who have worked for 25 or 40 years receive anniversary bonuses of 350 euros or 500 euros. This regulation is regulated by the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD) and affects both full-time and part-time employees. In addition to the cash gift, those celebrating their anniversary also receive a day of special vacation - a nice gesture to appreciate their long commitment. Public service news informs.
