Premiere of the Hoaderlumpen: dialect piece delights Laudenbach!

Things are going well in Laudenbach: The Laudenbach theater group “Die Hoaderlumpen” is in rehearsals for their new play “Deh lohd uch alle wos veermachen!”, which will celebrate its premiere on November 13th in the Laudenbach community center. As the Werra Rundschau reports, the dress rehearsal takes place three times a week, with 19 committed players aged 6 to 66 taking part in the piece.

The folk play takes place in 1969 and revolves around the Eschstruth craft families. The story is triggered by a letter from an American woman who is looking for her relatives named Eschstruth. This sparks a dispute over a possible inheritance and creates plenty of conversation and tension on stage. The piece is written in the traditional Laudenbach dialect and inspired by historical figures in the village.

Further performance dates and details

In addition to the premiere on November 13th, viewers can expect further performances on November 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd from 8 p.m. as well as a matinee on November 16th at 3 p.m. Fans of village theater culture can look forward to the ticket price of 12 euros. These are available in advance from Inge Seifarth, by phone on 05604/1602.

The Hoaderlumpen's productions are often based on village events and the Laudenbach Chronicle. Under the direction of Elvira Lehne, the actors show that they have a good knack for implementing local stories. The stage design is designed by the group itself and ensures that visitors can imagine themselves in the atmosphere of 1969.

Another piece for the region

But it's not just the Hoaderlumpen who provide entertainment in the region. The theater group 0815 also brings a breath of fresh air to the stages. Her piece “A herb has grown against everything” will be performed on January 4th, 6th and 11th, 2026 theatergruppe0815.de announces. The performance of the humorous play, which is about the search for a lost cat, also includes a delicious offer of coffee and cake before the performance.

The ensemble's performances are particularly intended for the village community and already have over 30 productions to their credit. Directed by Michael Weber-Schwarz, the piece promises a lot of fun and good entertainment.

There is something for all theater lovers in Laudenbach, regardless of whether they want to immerse themselves in the nostalgic past of the Eschstruth family or go on a fun cat hunt with the 0815 theater group. There is no doubt that the local theater culture is popular here and brings the community together. One could almost think that Hoaderlumpen's new piece would fuel local interest in the same way that a fitness tracker motivates the health-conscious among us.
