Big summer festival for the hospice: celebration, singing and fun in Eschwege!
A happy occasion is approaching: The Werra-Meißner Stationary Hospice Support Association invites everyone interested to its first summer party on August 30th. The event takes place on the beautiful Aufwind site at Brühl 6 in Eschwege. It starts at 11 a.m. and the Leuchtberg fanfares will properly open the festival.
Traditionally, there are no skimps on such festivals, and there is a lot to experience here too. Everyone who wants a good piece of cake or a hearty bratwurst is well catered for: coffee, cold drinks from Café Brise and lots of delicacies invite you to feast. But the little guests shouldn't miss out either! A colorful program is organized for them with games, crafts and a wheel of fortune.
Highlight of the festival
The pack singing, which starts at 3 p.m. and is led by Gert Neumann and Heike Guicking-Degenhardt, is particularly exciting. Here, participants can sing well-known songs together, including classics such as “Let It Be” by the Beatles and traditional folk songs. This sociable group promises a lot of fun and a good mood!
However, the summer festival is not just about fun. An important goal is to draw attention to the inpatient hospice and strengthen the member community. In addition, the association would like to recruit new members and acquire donations in order to continue the valuable work. The event is supported by the Aufwind association, which provides the outdoor area and also actively supports the implementation.

In our everyday lives, it is of great importance to support such projects because they help to improve the quality of life of many people in difficult situations.
