Due to insufficient driving experience and inadequate speed, the Mazda veered off the road to the right. The vehicle eventually found its way into the right-hand ditch, where it traveled for approximately 100 meters before coming to a stop at a ditch overpass. Rescue measures on site
The rescue workers from Melsungen quickly arrived at the scene of the accident and freed the injured driver from his demolished vehicle. Fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening and he was taken to the hospital in Kassel for further care.
