Young Rainröder Active: Culture and Community bloom!
Rainrod, Deutschland - The young generation in Rainrod is actively and committed. The Kulturring Rainrod, under the direction of Annalena Böhler, has established itself as an important point of contact for the village community in recent years. Since its foundation in 2009, the cultural ring not only has been organizing events for young and old, but also promotes the exchange between the generations. The initiative is increasingly supported by the young people of the local youth club, which was launched in 1992. A successful interaction that, after the temporary closing of the youth room in 2012, resumed driving through noise complaints. With a sophisticated concept, the youngsters managed to convince the city of Schotten of the reopening, and the dialogue with the neighbors was actively sought in order to clear symptoms straight out of the way. Together, the two institutions celebrate the successes of the past few years, such as the 30th anniversary of the youth club in 2022.
The Kulturring offers a wide range of events, including children's carnival, a summer foam party, nut sipping and the Christmas market, which is designed exclusively by rainropers. The importance of cooperation across generations is particularly emphasized. Hans Georg Lippert, the founder of the cultural ring, is described by many as a role model when it comes to promoting contact with youth. The regular offers include a handicraft meeting and a freestyle dance evening that bring together young and old.
a multi -generation playground for everyone
Another highlight in Rainrod is the redesigned multi -generation playground that was created from the former sports field. After four years of planning and almost a year implementation, the villagers recently celebrated the opening. The project was mainly realized by volunteer work and is a great example of how the community can come together. The idea came up four years ago when children asked their wishes for play equipment to Mayor Timo Georg. Here, too, it shows how important the integration of young people is.
The playground comes up with a variety of devices, including a nest swing, a four -man and a climbing frame to name just a few. In addition, the landscape was upgraded by planting trees and bushes, and fitness equipment and a Boccia train are also part of the site. So that not enough, the traditional football field, which is now supported by a new offer.
commitment and opportunities for young people
The versatile youth projects in Rainrod offer young people the opportunity to get involved and develop important skills. Such projects not only promote team spirit and creativity, but also social responsibility. The young people can make decisions, take responsibility and learn social skills such as communication and cooperation. Examples from the field of art and music or social projects show how diverse the opportunities are to be able to get involved. In addition, workshops and seminars can serve to expand conflict resolution skills.
These positive developments clearly show that a lot is “lying” in Rainrod - the village community has worked together through creative things and an open ear for the wishes of all generations created a remarkable environment in which everyone can feel comfortable.
