International MainWorld Music Festival in Offenbach – A festival of cultures!

On June 28, 2025, Offenbach will be the setting for an extraordinary cultural event: The 11th International MainWeltmusik Festival cordially invites all music and culture enthusiasts to experience a journey through the music of various cultures in the open air in the inner courtyard of the historic Büsing Palais. The aim of the festival is to promote exchange, diversity and understanding through music, as the mayor of Offenbach, Dr. Felix Schwenke and other representatives of the patronage, including Timon Gremmels, Christoph Degen and Tarek Al-Wazir, emphasize.

This city, which brings together a colorful mix of over 160 nations, creates an ideal setting for this festival of sounds and encounters. The organizers have put together a program that has it all.

A diverse line-up

Among the outstanding artists who will perform is the UNESCO Prize winner Alim Qasimov from Azerbaijan. His music is much more than just melody – it transcends time and convention. The Barcelona Gipsy Balkan Orchestra will delight visitors with a fusion of Balkan sounds and Mediterranean musicality. Dilek Türkan and Mete Aslan, masters of classical Turkish music, will also present their traditions.

Denise Krammer, known as one of Germany's best Latin pop singers, will captivate the audience with Brazilian rhythms. Another highlight is the MainWeltmusik Festival Ensemble under the direction of Hasan Yükselir, which interprets Anatolian folk elements in classical and jazz forms.

A feast for all senses

The diversity of the program is impressive: from the flamenco group, which embodies the attitude to life of this art form, to modern interpretations of traditional music such as Letter from Istanbul Project, which combines Turkish and Greek folklore. The LJJO Hessen junior band will also not be missing and will send talented young musicians onto the stage. The multicultural band SYRIAB, which works with various musicians, will also create an atmosphere, as will the duo BruderHerz, which presents a journey through different musical eras.

From the Glastonbury Festival to the sounds of Tomorrowland – music festivals around the world represent diversity and cultural exchange. This is also the case with the MainWeltmusik Festival, which follows a similar philosophy. Enthusiastic fans of the international music scene can look forward to unforgettable experiences that build bridges between different cultures.

The festival is not only supported by local institutions such as the city of Offenbach and several foundations, but also attracts an international audience who want to experience the cultural diversity in Offenbach. An invitation to an unforgettable experience that touches the senses and brings hearts together!
