Feasting and cycling: Culinary bike tour in Maintal on September 5th!
The anticipation of thatculinary bike tour through Maintalrises! OnSeptember 5, 2025The economic development department of the city of Maintal invites all food lovers to an appetizing journey of discovery. The event starts at4:00 p.mat the town hall in Hochstadt and lasts until about8:30 p.m. The initiative is all about “local shopping” and aims to increase awareness of local retailers, service providers and restaurants. Give your taste buds a treat and support the local economy at the same time!
The bike tour extends over approx.4.5 hoursand leads through picturesque areas of Maintal. Regional delicacies are served at four culinary stations. Participants expect:
- Pizzeria Calimero in Hochstadt, bekannt für ihre originale italienische Pizza
- Wein und Whisky Shop Maintal in Wachenbuchen, wo eine Wein- und Whisky-Verkostung auf Sie wartet
- Greek Taverna in Bischofsheim, mit kleinen griechischen Köstlichkeiten
- Außengastronomie La Main in Dörnigheim, wo am Mainufer der Abend mit einem hessischen Getränk und Snack ausklingt
Participation and registration
TheParticipation feeamounts20 euros per person, which also includes the tastings. The event takes place in all weather conditions, so weatherproof clothing is recommended. Please bring your own bike and note that the event is open to people18 yearsis thought.
