Something is happening in Hanau! From November 13th to 16th, 2025, the city will become a lively stage for various cultural events that primarily appeal to families. The start will be celebrated with the coronation of the Auheim parade marshal on November 11th at 2:11 p.m. in the engine shed, where the anticipation of the upcoming carnival days is reflected.
The Hanau carnival parade, which will parade through the streets on February 14th, is organized by the newly founded Auheim carnival parade association, which is already well underway. The Großauheim parade on February 17th also promises happiness and joy of life for young and old.
Cultural highlights and children's activities
But that's not all! The “Community of Steinheim Artists” presented their works in the Steinheim Cultural Hall from November 19th to 23rd, while an impressive concert with Aeham Ahmad will take place in St. Mary's Church on Remembrance Day at 7:30 p.m. For sports enthusiasts, a handball game between HSG and TSG Münster will be played in the Main-Kinzig-Halle on Friday at 8:15 p.m.
Music lovers shouldn't miss the jazz concert with the “New Orleans Joymakers” on Friday at 9 p.m. in the Jazzkeller. On Saturday, the stage will be livened up by the funk-rock fusion band “Four Elements”, who are sure to create a good atmosphere with their rousing sound.
