Devastating warehouse fire in Bad Soden: 160 emergency services in constant operation!

On the night of Saturday, August 16, 2025, Bad Soden-Neuenhain was rocked by a devastating warehouse fire. The flames blazed in the darkness and, completely unexpectedly, the warehouse caught fire. When emergency services arrived, the building was so badly affected that parts of the roof had collapsed. The estimated material damage amounts to several million euros, which illustrates the extent of the damage.

Around 160 emergency services were mobilized to put a stop to the infernal fire. Several fire departments were involved in this large-scale rescue operation, including those from Bad Soden, Eppstein, Flörsheim, Hattersheim, Hofheim, Kelkheim and Schwalbach.

Coordinated forces and processes

In addition to the fire department, the technical operations management, the fire protection supervisory service of the Main-Taunus district and the emergency services management were also on site. Aid organizations and the Technical Relief Organization (THW) from Hofheim were also deployed. Thanks to their honorable work, something worse was prevented: two residents were evacuated as a precaution, but fortunately there were no injuries.

In the midst of all the dramatic developments, the Main-Taunus district fire brigade association thanked everyone involved for their tireless efforts. “It’s fantastic to see how everyone works together when it matters,” said a spokesman for the association.

The investigation into the cause of the fire was quickly started by the criminal police. However, so far there is no information that could provide information about the origin of the fire. The public is called upon to report possible observations to support the investigators.
