New hr pub show”: Bensheim celebrates with star guests!
A new ray of hope for the Hessian television landscape: With the “hr Pub Show”, Hessischer Rundfunk is bringing to life a format that draws on the successful idea of “Inas Nacht”. The premiere will take place on Thursday, June 19th at 8:15 p.m. in the “Alte Dorfmühle” in Bensheim-Auerbach. Here the audience can expect an exciting mix of entertainment, musical guests and plenty of regional flair.
The show will be moderated by the popular duo Marcel Wagner and Tobias Kämmerer, who will guide viewers through an entertaining evening full of personal conversations and humorous anecdotes. The idea for the show came to the two of them one evening in a pub, where the concept of a cozy get-together and exchange came to a perfect conclusion.
Guests and highlights from the first episode
The first edition of the “hr Pub Show” promises real spice with guests who are well-known from the region and beyond. The prominent listeners include the show legend Marijke Amado and the talented musician Stefanie Heinzmann, whose performance will give you goosebumps and tears of joy. Ex-Eintracht captain Sebastian Rode, also from Bensheim, will also be present. Mayor Christine Klein will also share her thoughts on the city and community, while a representative from a local handball club will provide a sporting touch.
The aim of the show is clear: to come together, exchange ideas and celebrate Hessian pub culture. The first episode is followed by an episode of “Tobi's City Trip” at 9:00 p.m. in which Tobias Kämmerer explores Bensheim-Auerbach and brings viewers closer to the beauty and uniqueness of the city.
The importance of pub culture
Pubs not only have a long tradition as places for social gatherings, they are also reflections of society. In recent years the style of bars and restaurants has changed. Away from sparse furniture towards stylish, thematic concepts that enhance the drinking experience. While pubs in London shine with communal song evenings and retro moonshine-style bars are booming in New York, the “hr Pub Show” remains true to the true Hessian charm: the authentic and warm atmosphere in the pub around the corner. I wouldn't be surprised if the format, if successful, could lead to even more visits to pubs in Hesse.
The date on June 19th is already a hot tip for all friends of good entertainment. Be there when the “hr Pub Show” becomes the new home for conviviality and excellent entertainment. Tune in and let yourself be carried away by an evening full of fun, music and interesting conversations!
