Rotenburg An der Fulda wins at the 2025 town and athlete meeting!

In the picturesque backdrop of Rotenburg an der Fulda, the 16th town and athlete meeting of the seven red (h) of Enburg took place from June 20 to 22, 2025. An event that has celebrated the friendship between cities with the same name since 1979 and has grown steadily since 1990. Mayor Marcus Weber, the host of this year's meeting, was pleased with the lively participation and put the importance of sport for cohesion.

The seven red (h) of Enburg, including Rothenburg an der Oder, Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Rotenburg/Wümme, delegates to carry out sporting competitions together. Around 350 athletes competed in the disciplines of handball, volleyball, football, basketball, table tennis, archery, shooting and other sports. In a colorful supporting program, spectators were also able to immerse themselves in the world of sport and take some trial offers.

The event started with a warm welcome party on Friday evening on the market square of Rotenburg, where numerous clubs from the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district were part of the party.
