Art paradise Bad Hersfeld: Travel outlook inspires visitors!
The small town of Bad Hersfeld is currently becoming the setting for an exciting artistic encounter. In the chapter hall of the city museum, the opening of the exhibition "Travel outlook" of two talented painters took place on Friday evening: Wiebke Buch and Eri Standen. These two artists who got to know each other during their studies in Berlin bring completely different styles and perspectives into their works. While Buch, which has family connections to Bad Hersfeld, paints lively garden scenes and attractive landscapes, Stande focuses on detailed representations of everyday moments and travel. Accordingly, the exhibited works show not only places in Germany and Europe, but also goals in the South Pacific. According to HNA, the vernissage was a complete success. Together they not only gave the guests an insight into their art, but also in their understanding of painting. While book works with strong colors and dynamic brush strokes, stands focus on capturing the small, often overlooked details. These works of art are not only an expression of their creativity, they also invite the guests to pause - a concept that the artists rewrite as "pausing in the middle of movement".
a cultural evening
The event was ceremoniously opened by the mayor Anke Hofmann, who highlighted the importance of such artistic encounters in the region. City Councilor Aysegül Tas-Dogan held a touching introduction and presented a Turkish poem, which gave the event another cultural dimension. The evening was accompanied musically by the violinist Anastasia Boksgorn, who created a fantastic atmosphere with her sounds that captivated the visitors, how HNA berichtet.
The exhibition, which can be seen until September 1, offers the opportunity to personally learn more about the artists. On August 31, an artist discussion with Wiebke Buch and Eri Standen will take place, in which they will explain more about their creative way of working and the inspiration behind their works.
eri stand in focus
Eri stands that come from Troisdorf brings a special view of everyday details into their work. In the truest sense of the word, she zooms in with her pictures on the little things of life that often go down in the bustle of everyday life. Your works are an invitation to the viewers to change the usual perspective and to discover the beauty in everyday life. Before that, some of her works of art could already be admired in the Gallery of the Stadtwerke in Troisdorf, where they could be seen until August 16, 2024, as mentioned on the website of the Rheinische Adsblätter.
at a time when the art field is characterized by inequalities - for example, only 30 percent of the artists represented in galleries are visible - initiatives such as the exhibition in Bad Hersfeld are particularly important. Because they offer the artists a platform to present their work and to obtain visibility, which is underlined by the reports at Art Düsseldorf. It remains to be hoped that such events will help to make the art world fairer and more diverse.
The exhibition "Travel Outlook" is open on Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. By the way, all pictures can be purchased - a great way to get a piece of art home!
