Lingelcreek celebrates with cowboys and gold miners in the picture book weather!

Lingelcreek, Deutschland - in Lingelcreek, a picturesque district of Alsfeld-Llingelbach, the 20th edition of the Lingelcreek western festival recently took place and exceeded all expectations. In picture book weather, hundreds of visitors from various regions such as Hesse, Bavaria and Thuringia flocked to this colorful spectacle of the Wild West. The event, which attracted both young and old, offered a happy and peaceful ambience that was heavily inspired by life in the 19th century. The atmosphere was characterized by a warm coexistence, where cowboys, Indians and even US infantry soldiers from Tennessee strolled in historical costumes across the lovingly designed roads.

Other highlights of the festival included gold flakes for children and a stunt meadow that provided a lot of action. The Evangelical Community Aulatal/Bad Hersfeld was also on site and offered additional child fun. The reenactment group "4th Tennessee Volunteer Infantry" actively participated and gave the interested visitors historical relationships, which was very well received by the guests. Many appreciated the opportunity to exchange ideas about the past and ask questions that made the festival particularly family -friendly.

lively western exhibition

The annual event, which is now a real institution in Lingelcreek, transforms the village into an authentic image of the wild west as part of the festival. The members of the Western Club "Mainstreet 99" have built a film -typical main street that extends over 200 meters. There are numerous attractions such as a Western goods shop, a barber shop, a saloon, a steakhouse, a dance hall and even a bank that enables the change of euros to Lingelcreek dollar. Almost all residents and visitors dressed in suitable robes, which contributed significantly to the lively mood.

As in previous years, live music from bands such as "Bird Mountain", "Louisiana", "Overland" and "Pipes and Drums" provided musical entertainment, while line dance and a Western rating show provided additional variety. The aim of the festival is to bring visitors to life in the Wild West as realistically as possible. And that once again succeeded in this year - the feedback from the visitors was mostly positive and many described the festival as unique and particularly family -friendly.

The 20th edition of the LingelCreek-Western festival was a great success that sent everyone involved home with a smile. Both the organization and the visitors had a good hand in making this event an unforgettable experience. This also promises exciting and entertaining festivals in the Wild West of Hesse for the coming years.
