The concert highlights a varied repertoire. Under the direction of Matthias Höfert, the orchestra, consisting of 45 talented professional musicians, provides a program that ranges from film music to rock and pop classics to swing music in a big band sound. Current hits and classics are also performed, so there should be something for every musical taste.

An evening for a good cause

The proceeds from the concert will benefit the senior citizen campaign and youth support in the Hünfeld urban area. This support is particularly appreciated because it strengthens the community and illustrates the importance of traditions, according to Hünfeld's mayor Benjamin Tschesnok, who had already emphasized at the previous benefit concert that for many citizens this event marks the beginning of the Advent season. Pre-purchase of tickets has begun and tickets are available at the Hünfeld Citizens' Office, the Tourist Information Office and online. If you want to be sure of a place, you should hurry up. The ticket prices are fairly set at 12 euros for general visitors and 8 euros for concessions. At the box office the price increases to 14 euros (normal) and 10 euros (reduced).

This year's concert will undoubtedly bring to mind the emotional highlights and outstanding performances of previous years. Last year, among others, the talented singer Pia-Maria Sauer and police director Carsten Decker performed, who emphasized the importance of community and traditions in his words.
