From June 30, 2025, the residents of Schlitz-inhibitors, Fulda Lüdermünd and Grossenlüder-Lütterz must expect a temporary chlorination of their drinking water. The reason for this is the renovation of the drinking water fountain in slit inhibitors, which will take two weeks. As the Stadtwerke Schlitz report, the drinking water supply takes place during this time inhibit the elevator, which is temporarily supplied with water from the Schlitz-Hartershausen network. This measure aims to maintain the quality of the drinking water.
The decision to chlorinate was made on the order of the health department of the Vogelsberg district. The chlorine concentration will correspond to the requirements of the [Drinking Water Ordinance] (https://www.zvshk.de/downloadservice/sanitaer-wasser-abwassertechnik-3/ Ordinance-und-bungwasserverung-2-aungenungs-2012) and is considered to be harmless to health. Nevertheless, sensitive people are recommended not to use the Gechlorte water for drinking or preparing food until the end of chlorination. It is important for aquarium owners to know that chlorinated water is unsuitable for fish.
