The program during the inauguration left nothing to be desired: highlights were the performance of the Edersee Shanty Choir Waldeck and the live music by “Markus”. Numerous culinary offerings ensured your physical well-being. The little guests in particular got their money's worth: they were able to take part in a balloon competition and a city rally.
Ingolf Linke from Urban Development Funding praised the citizens of Waldeck who have invested in the renovation of their houses and pointed out the advice offered on urban development funding at the tourism office. The federal funding for urban development is an important building block for projects like this, which help to further strengthen inner cities and town centers.
