MT Talents are off to a strong start: Exciting handball duels in Melsungen!
The youth handball season is picking up speed and the MT Talents are setting the first act in the new chapter of their club history. The Melsung city sports hall will be the venue for two exciting matches in the youth handball Bundesliga next weekend. As mt-melsungen.de reports, the A-youth will face DJK SF Budenheim on Saturday at 6 p.m., while the B-youth will challenge TV Bissendorf-Holte on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
The young talents are in great shape, having already won two points against Lemgo in the first round. Before that, however, they had to admit defeat to the reigning runner-up Burgdorf, which led to a small setback despite a solid performance. The declared goal of MT Talents is to place in the top three of season 4. With this ambition, the players will go into the next games motivated.
Hesse selection and the challenge of the school
The weekend could be particularly exciting for two players. Maximilian Knopp and Marlon Junge were recently part of a day course for the Hessian state selection in Großwallstadt. This resulted in an additional challenge for Junge: he had to rewrite a Latin and a math exam, which was certainly not an easy task. Nevertheless, both players, who are regulars in the national selection, are in good spirits and ready to deliver their performances on the field.
The B-youth, which can compete in the newly created top division for B-youths, is facing an exciting season. In the 2024/25 season, the B-Youth Male Youth Bundesliga brings with it a big challenge: 48 teams are fighting for a good placement in a preliminary round. To be more precise, the teams are organized into eight regionally divided groups, which will play with home and away games, both for table positioning and for a place in the championship round, as dhb.de shows.
A look at the opponents
On Saturday the A-youth will face Budenheim, a team that also started the season well and recently overturned a deficit in their last match. The challenge could be exciting and the spectators can look forward to a thrilling duel. Tickets for the games are available at the box office and for those who cannot be there live, a broadcast will be offered on Sporteurope.TV.
The MT Talents have set their course and all eyes are on the upcoming games. While the spectators are cheering, the players are ready to give their best and perhaps soon climb further up the table. The start of the weekend promises to be exciting - what's happening in the Melsung city sports hall will definitely not leave you bored!
