From July 25th to 27th, 2025, Melsungen am Fuldaufer will be transformed into a Caribbean oasis: The second beach festival not only brings sun, sand and a good mood, but also a varied program for every age group. Organized by the Weinfreunde company and supported by DJ Sean Mosby as well as Gastrorent and Michael Siebert from Café Krone, the event promises to be a feast for the senses. The sponsor Tui-Reisecenter covers the increased advertising costs in order to offer the people of Melsung an unforgettable experience.
“Last year, around 2,500 visitors found their way to us despite adverse weather conditions,” reports an organizer full of optimism. The decoration on the banks of the Fulda is accompanied by fairy lights and deckchairs, which create a relaxed atmosphere. Since the celebrations take place on the Fulda stairs and on the bank, it's very relaxed and there is no entrance fee, as a barrier is not necessary. The goal: a great celebration, especially for the younger generation.
The musical program
Music is the main focus at the beach festival. On Friday evening, DJ Climex will create a party atmosphere with black music, electro and charts from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday is dedicated to the popular Malle Party with DJ Tom Wilcox, who is known for his extraordinary celebrations. On Sunday from 12 p.m., visitors will be treated to relaxed music and Caribbean flair - the perfect end to a successful celebration.
Culinary delicacies
Of course, physical well-being is not neglected either. The Café Krone opens its terrace and offers a very special ambience. For those who love Mexican food, there are delicious burritos from Climex Burritos. If you are looking for exquisite wines, you will find them at Wine Friends. In addition, cocktail and bratwurst stands from Gastrorent are a must to spoil guests with other delicacies.
