A new housing project for seniors has been created in Vellmar, which focuses on the needs of an aging society. Currently, 18 tenants have already moved into an apartment in the new complex. The structure includes 44 two-room apartments and 6 three-room apartments, all designed to be barrier-free. The rents for these new senior apartments start at 1,300 euros. A fitted kitchen can be rented for an additional 60 euros per month, which is quite common in this price segment. Vellmar's new senior housing complex is part of a larger project.
