Oberursel is looking forward to a new carnival prince and a massive fundraising campaign!
The anticipation for the upcoming carnival season in Oberursel is already noticeable! On November 11th, a very special highlight will be celebrated in the town hall with the official enthronement of the new carnival prince at 11:11 a.m. The future prince recently gave a first foretaste of the foolish days in which he not only wants to dance, but also support important causes, with an appearance as a teddy bear at the children's carnival on Rose Monday 2024. The FNP reports that the prince asked for donations for the Bear Heart Foundation asks, which supports families with terminally ill children.
At the enthronement, the prince is accompanied by three enchanting pages: Patricia Puscher (Peggy), Kristina Schomberg (Krissy) and Janina Goßmann. Former Prince Rüdiger Koch acts as court marshal and also provides the prince's carriage. Jens Wellnitz, who will accompany the event as the driver of the prince's car, will provide the necessary mobility. The court marshal is supported by Karsten Wolf, president of the Narrenrat.
A good touch for the Bärenherz Foundation
The Bärenherz Foundation is an established institution that has focused on helping families with seriously ill children since it was founded in 1999. She currently supports children's hospices in Wiesbaden and Markkleeberg as well as the Nesthäkchen children's home in Hünstetten-Görsroth, where severely disabled and sick children and young people find an important contact point. At Moog GAT, as reported, employees are not only treated to free coffee and water, but are also encouraged to make small donations to help ensure that the foundation's valuable work can be continued. Over 8,300 euros have already been raised through fundraising campaigns and Mr. Bayer presents this to the foundation every year.
Admission for the enthronement ceremony on November 11th is 17 euros. Ticket reservations can be made easily by email, and it is not in vain that it is said that a good hand for everything related to Carnival is very important! In addition to the prince's ceremonial proclamation, there are also other events in the program, such as the coronation of the new child prince couple on November 22nd and the big Taunus carnival parade on February 15th, 2026. Information about these capers into foolish life can be found on the Oberursel Narrenrat website.
