On September 5th, 2025, things will get sporty again in Bad Orb when the Engel Run 4 Fun takes place. The event, which is organized by Engel AG and TV Bad Orb, promises not only top sporting performances, but also a great atmosphere for participants and visitors. The concept of running

Each team consists of four runners, two of whom complete a distance of around 1.7 kilometers at the same time. There are four rounds to run in total, so each person has two turns. The starting shot will be fired at 6:30 p.m., while start number distribution and late registrations will be possible on site from 5:00 p.m. Before the start there will be a warm-up by AktiVita from Bad Orb to get the participants going.

A celebration for the whole family

At the finish area, participants are welcomed by a relaxed atmosphere. Here, the WunderBar event catering caters for your physical well-being with culinary delicacies. The teams can also hope for prizes: In addition to non-cash prizes for the three fastest teams, awards will also be given out for the most creative costume. These prizes are donated by Hotel an der Therme/Toskanaworld, among others.

The event is also about community. 100% of the entry fees collected go to three local clubs from Bad Orb, which gives the run a social component and gives all participants the opportunity to do good.

In addition to the Engel Run, the Dehaam market takes place in the Kurpark, where visitors can cheer on the runners. This combination of sport and regional flair creates a lively atmosphere that combines both sporting and social aspects. The entire event is held in cooperation with the Naumann printing and press house.

For everyone who is interested in their health beyond their sporting performance: The German Athletics Association (DLV) recommends that all participants fill out a special questionnaire to assess health risks.
