In Hochheim am Main, residents reported the theft of a scooter from Zipserstrasse at around 4:46 a.m. that same morning. Two previously unknown perpetrators pushed a black “Peugeot” scooter off private property. An attentive neighbor observed the crime and described one of the perpetrators as male, between 16 and 18 years old, with a slim build, a cap and a tube scarf over his mouth and nose. The value of the stolen scooter is estimated at around 500 euros. Fortunately, the vehicle was later found at a nearby playground. Traffic accident with seriously injured motorcyclist

Also on August 16th, a serious traffic accident occurred on the B 455 between Kelkheim-Fischbach and Eppstein at around 10:15 a.m. A 24-year-old motorcyclist from Kelkheim collided with a 60-year-old Volvo driver from Fischbach, who took her right of way. The collision resulted in serious injuries to the motorcyclist, who had to be taken to hospital as quickly as possible. Statistics on thefts and traffic accidents in Hesse
