Series of burglaries in Hochtaunuskreis: Police are looking for witnesses and clues!

In the Hochtaunus district, the police are currently dealing with several crimes, ranging from house break-ins to theft and property damage. Citizens' sense of security is increasingly suffering as a result of these incidents, which is why investigators urgently need information from witnesses. Important information about the actions and events in Bad Homburg and Oberursel was provided in a current report by news-stadt.de announced.

In Bad Homburg there was a burglary on “Am Weidenring” street between September 26th and 28th. Unknown perpetrators entered through a balcony door on the second floor and ransacked the premises. So far there is no information about the stolen goods. The police have started an investigation and are asking witnesses to contact the Bad Homburg police station on (06172) 120-0.

Perpetrators also struck in Oberursel. On September 25th, between 5 and 6 p.m., a Ukrainian flag was stolen from a flagpole on St. Sebastian Street. The police do not yet have any information about the background or possible perpetrators; the state security agency has started the investigation. Information can also be given to the Oberursel police station on (06171) 6240-0.

A day later, on September 26th, a bicycle that was parked on Frankfurter Landstrasse was stolen. The bike, a Bulls “Sharptail Street 3” model, was stolen from a connection to which it was connected after the chain lock was destroyed by the perpetrator. The estimated damage is several hundred euros.

Another incident was reported on the same day in the Hohemarkstrasse area. Here, between 1 a.m. and 4 p.m., the passenger door of a Mercedes A-Class was damaged by the letters “sa” being scratched. The perpetrators remained unidentified here too. Witnesses who witnessed these acts are still called upon to come forward.

Burglary in Friedrichsdorf and other incidents

How presseportal.de reported, there was also a similar case in Friedrichsdorf. On February 7th of this year, an apartment on Mühlstrasse was broken into. The perpetrators forcibly gained access through the patio door and stole several pieces of jewelry worth several thousand euros. The police are also asking for information here.

The feeling of security in the region is and will continue to be affected by such incidents. The police therefore rely on the help of the public in order to solve these crimes. Anyone who has seen or heard something should not be afraid to report to the relevant police station. Only together can we counteract crime.
