There is great concern, especially in Neu-Anspach and Bad Homburg, where anti-constitutional graffiti as well as a burglary and an attempted car theft have to be solved.
The repeated graffiti in Neu-Anspach, which occurred between October 9th and 10th, is particularly alarming. In the early hours of Friday, swastikas and xenophobic slogans were found along Theodor-Heuss-Straße, Heinrich-Böll-Weg and Wiesenau Street. The perpetrators had used a colored pencil and apparently focused on a sign, a fence and the back of two billboards. The police state security has now started investigations and is examining possible connections with similar incidents in recent months. Information about these acts can be reported to the Usingen police station by calling (06081) 9208-0. This is a big issue for the residents there, as such acts not only put a strain on property, but also on social interaction.

There was also a break-in in a single-family home in the Ober-Eschbach district, which occurred between Thursday morning and Friday morning. The perpetrators entered the house through the roof and drilled a hole in the rafters after removing shingles. Several rooms were probably ransacked for valuables, but it remains unclear what exactly was stolen. The Bad Homburg criminal police have initiated the investigation and are also offering free advice on burglary protection for interested citizens.
