Weingut Welker-Emmerich, Rüdesheim am Rhein, Deutschland - On Sunday, July 6th, the 16th classic car meeting of the Classic Automobile Rüdesheim (C.A.R.) association will take place in the Welker-Emmerich winery in Rüdesheim. From 11 a.m., visitors can expect a fun day full of historical automobiles, culinary delights and musical entertainment. Nahewe-News reports that C.A.R. was founded and now has 45 active members.

Traditionally, the meeting begins with an exit through the picturesque Naheland, which extends along the 130 -kilometer long nearby road. This leads through beautiful winegrowers between Bingen and Kirn. Last year, over 200 classic cars, motorcycles and tractors enjoyed great popularity, and this year the organizers also hope for numerous participants and visitors. As in the previous year, a special reception for the classic car drivers is planned: each driver receives a photo of his participation in the previous year, and all classic car owners are given a rose as a greeting.

Culinary and musical

The culinary offer leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to exquisite wines such as Riesling and Burgundy, tarte flambee and special grill specialties are also served. A large cake buffet and homemade potato chips complete the offer. Of course, musical entertainment is provided: the band "Two in the Box" creates a good atmosphere with oldies from the 1950s and 1960s. Here, too, the staff and visitors are appealed to dress in "classic car wardrobe" and thus support the nostalgic flair of the event.

Another hope of the organizers, which she expresses at Rüdesheim-Nahe is that a large audience is expected. Among other things, classic car drivers and their passengers are encouraged to appear in contemporary clothing, which contributes to the atmosphere of the event. However, visitors who do not appear with a classic car are just as cordially invited to dress in a suitable wardrobe and celebrate this special day with the classic car community.
