ALPINA Parking takes over three parking garages in Rüsselsheim – now even safer!

Have you heard? From now on it will be a little more pleasant in the parking spaces in Rüsselsheim am Main! The ALPINA Parking from Munich took over the management of three municipal parking garages in September 2025. The associated contract was concluded in March of this year.

The new parking facilities are a real benefit for all drivers in the city: there are now 742 parking spaces available in a total of three parking garages. This includes:

  • 242 Plätze im Parkhaus An der Festung, Frankfurter Straße 5
  • 233 Plätze im Park & Ride-Parkhaus am Rüsselsheimer Bahnhof, Grabenstraße 42
  • 267 Plätze in der Tiefgarage am Löwenplatz

Innovation and comfort

A highlight is the new parking technology: automatic license plate recognition makes the parking ticket unnecessary. This means that the license plate is recorded when you drive in and compared when you drive out - the same peace of mind for all vehicle drivers!

The parking garage on Grabenstrasse is now open to the general public and offers both cash and cashless payment options. Users can easily pay using a QR code – practical and quick!

Safety comes first

The security of the parking spaces is also a top priority. The facilities are well protected with camera-monitored zones and a quick-closing roller door in the underground car park at Löwenplatz. The central entrance to the underground car park is secured by an access system. A friendly ALPINA service employee is available in the underground car park at any time to answer any questions.

The company itself has over 27 years of experience in parking space management. It manages around 15,000 parking spaces in Germany and Austria and has always been committed to avoiding third-party parking. With a focus on the highest possible comfort and high service quality in the parking facilities operated, the integration of e-mobility, camera-based license plate recognition and contactless payment is offered as standard, as on the website ALPINA Parking is to be read.

The parking fees set by the city remain moderate, which makes the new service even more attractive. “We have a good knack for innovative solutions,” says a person responsible for the company, who emphasizes the constant development and redesign of the standards offered.

Parking in Rüsselsheim will soon not only be more resource-efficient and easier, but also safer and more comfortable. Whether shopping or commuting, so that you always have a parking space, there's something to do!
