Something great is happening in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district for women who want to expand their personal and professional skills. The event series “Strong.Self.Safe!” provides a platform to build knowledge and encourage each other. The organizers, the Office for Equal Opportunities and the Office for Civic Women's Work, are meeting the target group with three free online events in November and December 2025. District Administrator Klaus Peter Schellhaas emphasizes the importance of empowering women and calls on them to discover their strengths and use them confidently.

The first event will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This is all about the topic “AI for beginners – a practical lecture on the use of artificial intelligence”. This event provides exciting insights into the world of artificial intelligence and shows how it can be used in everyday life and at work. Interested women must register by email by November 3, 2025 to take part.

A platform for exchange and conversation

Just a week later, on November 17, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., the second event will follow with the topic “Money in relationships – We talk about it!” This creates space for open discussions about money issues. It's about recognizing wishes and finding solutions, which is an important topic in many partnerships.

The final event in the series will take place on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, also at 5:30 p.m. Under the title “‘No’ is a complete sentence – learning to set boundaries,” the participants learn to clearly communicate their boundaries and appear confident. This event is particularly valuable for raising your own voice and setting yourself apart in different areas of life.

The event series aims to encourage women of all ages and backgrounds to explore various topics, particularly AI. In a similar course offered online by the feminist faculty, women have the opportunity to explore the fundamental aspects of artificial intelligence. Ethical issues and feminist challenges in AI are also discussed there, which is an exciting addition to the local events. This workshop took place on October 28, 2024 and showed how relevant such topics are for women. The exchange about AI and its practical use is a step in the right direction for an inclusive future.
