The big children's festival Leo celebrates conquers Alsfeld: fun for everyone!
The children's festival “Leo celebrates” will take place in the picturesque town of Alsfeld on June 28th and 29th, 2025. After the great success last year, when over 30,000 visitors attended the festival, the second round is now underway. The “Alsaktiv” trade association and the city of Alsfeld have once again come up with a lot of ideas to give guests young and old an unforgettable weekend. A highlight of the festival is the newly added “Toggo Tour” from RTL. Alsfeld is one of the lucky ones: The city is one of only ten that hosts this popular summer tour and is even the only stop in Hesse. A colorful program for the whole family
As with any good event, the children's festival is accompanied by an exciting program. Artists like Iggi Kelly and the DJ duo MICAR&JASH will be on stage, while sports fans can take part in American football stations or the “skateboard madness”. For smaller children, there are offers such as the Peppa Pig playhouse and creative building fun stations, which are supervised by Rubble & Crew. The offer is supplemented by interactive quizzes and gaming highlights with TOGGO GG. And for those who want more experiences: a competition with a main prize of 2500 euros for a trip to Turkey is also planned!
The festival is enriched by numerous hands-on stations from local clubs and companies, which offer a high-quality experience for young visitors. Dirk Haberkorn and Boris Meinzer from Hit-Radio-FFH will moderate the program on the market square and ensure a lively atmosphere. Families can also look forward to a large tent camp called “Storchennest” where they can spend the night.

The numerous improvements to the infrastructure that have been implemented ensure the well-being of all guests. There are now more concession stands, sufficient toilets, medical services and comfortable seating.
