Rotenburg an der Fulda, Deutschland - On July 6, 2025, Rotenburg once again turned into a colorful spectacle when the home and beach festival was in full swing. Despite the interim rain shower, the visitors stayed in a good mood and enjoyed the festive atmosphere that the city enveloped by a colorful pageant. With over 46 groups, including kindergartens, schools, clubs and companies, the pageant moved through the streets in the afternoon and delighted the spectators with music, dance and a lot of applause.

The day started early with an ecumenical service on the marketplace, which attracted many believers. Afterwards there was a lively relay race through the city center, in which both young and old took part. The number of participants was impressive and showed how much the population is behind this traditional festival.

But that was just the beginning. In the afternoon, the city center turned into a large celebration mile. The pageant, which lasted over two hours, offered an impressive show, even if the weather was not entirely possible. But the visitors expressed themselves consistently and did not let the mood spoil.

The evening program in the marquee started at 9 p.m. with DJ Mo, which created a exuberant atmosphere. Another highlight was the torch swimming of the DLRG on the Fulda at 10:15 p.m., followed by an illuminated boat corner and spectacular water features of the volunteer fire brigade. The crowning glory was a large fireworks display that illuminated the night sky.

A family day for the following Monday was planned to reduce prices. The visitors were able to look forward to free beer and a breakfast together under the motto "Rotenburg is (s) t together". The breakfast was musically accompanied by DJ "Uncle Jürgen", who caused a good mood. In the evening the “party builders” were on stage and there was a award of the best pageant contributions - another highlight of the festival weekend.

The local and beach festival in Rotenburg has again proven this year that it is much more than just a local event. It brings people together and ensures unforgettable memories, even if the weather was not always ideal.
