Homecoming of the Lispenhauser: Sabine Stanley now lives in England!
In the heart of Hertfordshire, north of London, Sabine Stanley lives with her husband Rupert in a small, charming village. However, her roots go back deep to Lispenhausen in Hesse, where she grew up and regularly visits her homeland. If you think that love knows no boundaries, you should listen to the story of Sabine and Rupert, who met over 30 years ago and have been walking together ever since.
By the age of 17, the two were inseparable, writing letters to each other for eight years and meeting on vacation. It wasn't an easy undertaking because after studying English, business administration and Spanish, Sabine eventually moved to England. However, their love remained strong, and in 2002 the two exchanged vows at the Rotenburg registry office, followed by celebrations in Lispenhausen and England.
Professional passion and creative excursions
After many years in the human resources department of a corporation, Sabine took the step into self-employment eight years ago and now works as a leadership coach. This not only gives her the freedom to grow professionally, but also the opportunity to pursue her other passion: singing. In her free time, she sings in various choirs and founded the women's group Savoce in 2020, which rehearsed in the garden during the corona pandemic. This shows her creativity and her strong sense of community.
Sabine and Rupert now live in a newly built house with their two cats. Despite the distance, the Hessian native has always maintained close contact with her family and friends in Rotenburg and visits her old home several times a year. She is also an active member of the performing arts club Kulisse and enjoys watching performances whenever her schedule allows.
A touch of Shakespeare
The renowned voice coach Patsy Rodenburg also plays a major role in the world of voices and creativity. She has over 40 years of experience as a leadership coach and voice trainer and is considered an authority in the field of theater arts. Using a unique approach, she combines classic theater texts with modern tensions and helps clients develop their voice and presence in a variety of ways. Her ability to help people develop themselves speaks to her impressive career.
Patsy works not only with actors, including the likes of Judi Dench and Ian McKellen, but also with executives and political figures. Her workshops take place worldwide and teach important techniques for strengthening voice and presence. Her commitment extends to socially disadvantaged areas, where she uses the spoken word to break down barriers and promote understanding. As the author of several books, she has made significant contributions to acting training and her knowledge of the voice is unsurpassed.
Both Sabine and Patsy show how important creativity and expression are in today's world. While Sabine builds a bridge to music and community from her homeland, Patsy brings the spoken word to life with a voice that connects people worldwide.
Whether in Rotenburg or Hertfordshire – the power of connection is evident in the stories we live and tell.
