On July 19, 2025, the time has come: The Bad Hersfeld Festival invite you to the premiere of the comedy "Art" by Yasmina Reza in the picturesque atmosphere of the Eichhof Castle. The performance begins at 8:30 p.m. and promises to become a highlight of this year's festival. During the two hours that the performance lasts-including a 30-minute break-the audience expects an amusing and thoughtful piece to test the friendship of three men.

The plot revolves around the dermatologist and art collector Serge, played by Christian Nickel, who is added to a costly acquisition - a completely white picture entitled "White Picture with White Strip". However, his friend Marc, an engineer, sees the whole thing very differently and sharply describes Serges buy as "shit". The third in the group, Yvan (embodied by Bijan Zamani), stands between the two and tries to settle the argument while preparing himself for a possible wedding.

The staging is directed by Antoine Uitdehag, who has been able to convince with his feeling for something special in the past. The audience can look forward to the proven stage design, which was already used in the previous production “God of the slaughter”. Pauline Mainz supports the creative team as a director's assistant.
