At around 6 p.m., a Fiat and a Ford collided at the intersection between Bad Hersfeld and Philippsthal. According to Osthessen News, the Fiat was on the way to Bad Hersfeld, while the Ford wanted to turn at the intersection to Philippsthal and took the right of way from the Fiat.

The collision resulted in both drivers being injured and having to be taken to hospital immediately. The fire department was quickly on site to secure the scene and initiate further measures.
