In Battenfeld, a great project by FC Ederbergland with the Rewe market Fichna was successfully completed on November 15, 2025. The sticker collection campaign, which ran over a period of ten weeks, was very well received in the region. A total of 67,500 stickers were sold, which reflects the commitment of the club's young footballers. This initiative came from a creative idea from the FCE youth department that was born in the summer.
A crucial partner for this colorful campaign was Christian Fichna's Rewe store. Together they made it possible for the players to purchase their stickers in the form of packs with five photos each for 1 euro each at the checkout. Club photographer Tina Paulus was fully committed and took a total of 342 photos of active players, coaches and club members.
A piece of club history
The resulting sticker album is not only a collector's item, but is described as a piece of club history. In collaboration with Stickerstars GmbH, around 300 albums were printed and successfully sold. At 56 pages, it not only captures the faces of the team, but also the emotions associated with football.
The stickers were exhibited in the Rewe market, where all 342 photos could be presented in an organized manner on DinA4. This created additional excitement and joy among fans and collectors. In order to further promote the passion for collecting, swap meets took place both in the Rewe and in the Sportalm of the SV Allendorf. Players also came together during training to exchange stickers and complete their collections.
