Napravnik, who lives in Ertingen with his wife and eight -month -old son, has had an exciting journey that has led him from the ice hockey fields to Bad Nauheim to health management.

The 30-year-old Napravnik, who once stood on the ice for EC Nauheim and the Frankfurt Löwen, began his ice hockey career at the age of three. After graduating from high school in 2015, he decided to study at the German University of Prevention and Health Management in Frankfurt. During his studies, he gained practical experience in various gyms, where he finally took over the management of several branches.

After his time in the fitness industry, Napravnik was employed as a health manager and later as a "Medical Operations Manager" in the renowned "Lanserhof" fasting clinic on Sylt until summer 2024. He accepted this challenge when the couple decided to change their place of residence due to the difficult health care on the island of Sylt. He quickly found a new place in the rehabilitation clinic in Bad Saulgau, where he appreciates the support of his predecessor Aigner.

his goal in the new position will be the promotion of individual rehabilitation and health prevention. Because, as is emphasized in an international report, health promotion and rehabilitation is particularly important in view of the increase in chronic diseases and the aging population in Germany. Preventive measures are also offered in rehabilitation facilities, which is perfectly suitable for Napravnik's philosophy of individual care.

Minister's visit to the clinic

A lively example of the positive development in the Waldburg-Zeil-Klinik is the visit of Manne Lucha, Minister for Social Affairs, Health and Integration. Due to painful osteoarthritis, he had to have a double knee operation carried out in the course of his parliamentary summer break and started his rehabilitation in the clinic. Lucha praised the team for its competence and empathy - characteristics that also emphasized Napravnik as a guideline for his future work.

"The mixture of mindset, professionalism and organization makes our clinic unique," said the minister, who even sent employees a personal thank you letter. This is not only an award for the clinic, but also a positive signal for the patient community.

Personally, Napravnik, who himself never had to take a rehabilitation clinic, but knows the challenges of sport, has a good relationship with the chief physician of the clinic, which is also a passionate ice hockey fan. "I am looking forward to the new role and to find solutions together for the challenges that we have to master in rehabilitation and health promotion," says Napravnik.
