Klein-Auheim celebrates: Corpus Christi and district festival are imminent!

A lot is happening in Klein-Auheim! On June 15, 2025, there are some exciting appointments that should be interested in both residents and visitors. Preparations for local festivals are in full swing and the clubs are active than ever before. Whether Corpus Christi procession, the upcoming parish festival or the popular Klanaam district festival - a lot is offered.

The Corpus Christi Festival takes place on June 19 and starts with a service at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Peter and Paul church. Afterwards, around 10:15 a.m., the procession begins musically accompanied by the TSV wind orchestra. The route leads through Kolpingstraße, Obergasse and many other beautiful streets to the mouse fountain. The residents are invited to festively decorate their windows and houses to enrich the atmosphere.

Klanaamer district festival

Another highlight is in the house on July 5: the 11th Klanaam district festival. Organized by Vereinsring Klein-Auheim e.V. will start from 11 a.m. Around 30 clubs, traders and bands on Schulstraße and Rathausstraße present themselves here. The official starting shot takes place at 11:30 a.m. with an ecumenical service and is musically framed by the TSV Klein-Auheim wind orchestra.

The festival promises a colorful program with music styles from pop and rock to classic dances. There is a bouncy castle and a diverse culinary offer, especially for the little visitors, ranging from grill dishes to Turkish specialties to homemade cakes. A highlight will also be the theater performance of "Spotlight Theater Hanau" at 4 p.m.

The following day, July 6th, the summer exhibition "One -man business - the Fischer and his Angen" is opened. This is devoted to the life and tools of Josef Seipel, the last professional fisherman from Klein-Auheim, and can be seen in the museum in the cycling until October 26th. The opening takes place at 2 p.m. and admission is of course free.

Another important point in Klein-Auheim is the approval of the "Brücke-in-Brücke" solution for the Auheim bridge, for which a construction contract of EUR 2.13 million was issued. The multiplication of the traffic advertisements and the mobile youth club, which started operating in Klein-Auheim on June 10, are also current issues that employ the residents.

The community invites everyone to actively participate in the lively club and neighborhood initiative, because community commitment is very important here. The St. Josef daycare center was recently selected as a model location for an inclusive program and receives a lot of praise from the region for this award.
