FREE VOTERS Hochtaunus present strong candidates for district council!

On November 1, 2025, the FREIEN WÄHLER Hochtaunus invited people to an eagerly awaited constellation meeting in the Forum Friedrichsdorf. The candidates were nominated for the upcoming district council election on March 15, 2026. This event marks an important step because the FREIEN WÄHLER have announced a comprehensive realignment after separating from the previous district council group. The list includes both experienced personalities and fresh faces who want to provide new ideas.

At the top of the list is Robert Hohmann from Friedrichsdorf. The experienced construction consultant brings extensive knowledge of local politics and emphasizes the importance of common sense in politics. Hohmann is convinced that this makes a decisive contribution to ensuring the quality of life and cohesion in the Hochtaunuskreis. In second place is Christin Jost, a 36-year-old social worker from Weilrod, who is also the district chairwoman of the FREIEN WÄHLER Hochtaunus. Third place belongs to Michael Rehwald from Bad Homburg, who is involved in the areas of social affairs, health and integration.

A strong team

Among the other candidates, Georges Peltier from Wehrheim and Hubert Horn from Friedrichsdorf are in fourth and fifth place. “We are competing with a strong team that is down-to-earth, independent and solution-oriented,” says Jost. The FREIEN VÖHLER would like to go into the election with this attitude and bring the concerns of the citizens to the fore.

The political agenda of the FREIEN WÄHLER focuses on central issues such as health care, mobility, family friendliness and strengthening rural areas. These priorities reflect the concerns of the citizens and show that the FREIEN WÄHLER are open to the needs of the residents.
