Summer cultural offensive in Alt-Sachsenhausen: Uff the water!

In the summer of 2025, a very special cultural project in Alt-Sachsenhausen will open its doors. The initiative "Uff the Gass!" transforms the paradise square into a lively open stage for music, art, sports and participation offers on several weekends. The organizers rely on a broad participation and want to enhance the quality of life, culture and experience in the neighborhood. The City of Frankfurt reports that the project is under the sponsorship of the AltSax and Culture Association and is supported by Frankfurt City Marketing.

But what is "uff the water!"? The organizers don't just want to organize a unique festival. Rather, the concept is created as a long -term communication platform to promote the exchange and artistic participation. The low threshold for all visitors is particularly important: inside: the events are free and should be accessible to everyone. The program includes a variety of family -friendly formats and includes various hands -on activities.

Various offers for young and old

The initiative plans an exciting program that extends over several weekends. From June 20 to 22, for example, club tours, readings and the "Fête de la Musique" with local bands are on the plan. The second big weekend under the motto "Trouble in Paradise" will take place from July 3rd to 6th and attracts with boxing and Thaibox workshops. For the small participants: there are children's workshops and training with @boxcamp_gallus on Friday, July 4th. In the evening you can experience punk rock concerts with bands like @stebottles_official and @Freiffergalore on stage.

Another highlight will be the neighborhood day on July 6, which will offer numerous creative stations and hands -on activities. This not only promotes a firm communal exchange, but also strengthens the identity and visibility of the quarter, which is particularly important at a time when noise, garbage and vacancy in Alt-Sachsenhausen are a challenge.

Sustainable district development in focus

The initiative "Uff the Gass!" is not only committed to cultural incentives. Rather, the project should also develop positive visions for a livable Alt-Sachsenhausen. The aim is to improve the quality of life and to strengthen social networks. In parallel to this project, there are various funding for neighborhood developments and social space work in Germany, as on blog-foerdermittel.de. This support can also "uf the water!" benefit because such projects make a decisive contribution to strengthening coexistence and social participation.

In a resident meeting on June 17th, the citizens have the opportunity to actively participate in the design of the project and to contribute their ideas. This becomes a platform for everyone who loves interaction and cultural exchange in the heart of Frankfurt.
